Show of hands: Those who do NOT want a moonroof (TRD off-road Premium)

Looking for a 6th gen TRD off-Road premium without the moonroof… just a month ago, you could find them everywhere.. now, there aren’t any to be found and it looks like all the new allocation builds have them added… how many of you out there don’t want a moonroof or specifically bought your without it and why?
I don’t want it because.. I don’t fit with it (6’-4”) and I don’t want to worry about a random rock (AZ) breaking it.. plus the extra cost for insurance

Weird... im nearly 6'5 and have no issue fitting with a moon roof. Same for 2019 4runner of my daughters....They make a magic button on the side of the seat that lowers the seat...(IF you're 6'4 leg room should be more of a issue than head) Ive used that sead adjustment in every truck and suv ive owned since my 2001 chevy silverado.

With the seat all the way down I fit.. but barely. I guess I’m longer in the torso than legs. I wish I could make it work, but I would like the option to move my seat if desired. I’m just not a fan of the moonroofs in general. My frustration is the vehicle doesn’t come standard with this option but whoever is deciding the builds for this region has made that decision for everyone.

I had to hunt for months to find the exact build I wanted, without a sunroof. I had to go out of state as every 4Runner in California seemed to come with one. I have a full length rack with a tent over the front so a sun roof made no sense for me.

Nice 4Runner! I’m with you on the roof rack. That’s my intention as well.. if I can find one without the moonroof!
