Does it come with hardware like nutserts/blind bolts included in case there are not threaded holes? I think Westcott and Cali Raised include them.
As it pertains to Westcott Designs slider hardware, this is what comes in the box if you request hardware for a threaded hole installation. Picture shows what is needed for 1 side of the vehicle. I was surprised that per side you only use 3 of the threaded holes. (I think I counted 9 threaded holes on each side of the vehicle frame.) The 2 rivnuts are threaded, but they obviously create their own threads. Then there are 3 contraptions that I will call blind bolts which go in unthreaded holes. That’s 8 fasteners per side.

So out of 18 total threaded holes you end up only using 6 of them.

I removed my stock Rock Sliders on my '25 Trailhunter and installed the DV8 Off Road side steps and I couldn't be happier!!! Sturdy, bigger step surface and more affordable !! Super simple install too. Well worth the purchase!

Did you have to move any wires or anything else during install? On their reviews on the website someone mentioned on drivers side having to move some wires around. Or was it just a direct Bolt on ?

They were direct bolt on. The drivers side had some wires that were close, but no issues getting the bolts to line up.. Very straightforward install.

I haven’t bought yet so appreciate everyone’s suggestions. I’ve been tempted by Greenlane Offroad’s ones because they are aluminum. Not much cost savings off the Westcott ones, but the lighter weight intrigues me.

They don’t advise using them as jack points but say they do support the weight of the car and as someone who doesn’t go very hardcore they sound like a good compromise between weight and protection. Am curious if anyone has tried them!

I really like the cali raised... thats what I have seemed to me the best value for quality. Shipping was included in the price. Plus strong feature set.

I have a Pro and put on the Greenlane sliders. Same as you I mainly use them as steps but wanted the protection on the few times I do harder off-road trails just as insurance. If you're doing regular rock bashing, steel is better but for me I wanted "just in case" protection and corrosion resistance since I live in a salt state and don't want to paint my sliders every year (and half the weight). Installation was pretty easy although a bit tight on the passenger side where the hybrid battery takes up space. I had to use a different bolt hole than the instructions for that side but everything is super solid and I'm very happy with my choice. Great balance of protection (vs no protection with running boards) and practicality. Also I ordered the 0 degree (vs angled) because the 0 degree sticks out enough to stop most doors (depending on shape) parked next to me from hitting my doors. Instead they will hit the sliders and only damage their doors if they are being careless. Good luck in your decision.

I’m about to order Westcott Designs Rock Sliders for my TRD Pro after I hear if I’m gonna need surgery on my thumb.
