Since we all know the stock inverter is essentially garbage, I thought about replacing it with something from victron or red arc. Does anyone know where the stock inverter is located?

I hope it's not garbage this was the reason I bought a Hybrid so I can recharge my Ecoflow camping!

My guess is he's not happy it only puts out 100w while in drive.

Possibly, but, if so, that's not a failing of the inverter itself. I blame the lawyers. :)
It occurred to me, that I could keep a power supply in the car to have more power while driving, if there's a need. There's been no need so far.

It’s garbage because it’s a modified or square sine wave. Many electronics don’t work with that and need a pure sine wave.

Ecoflow batteries won’t work (delta 2 for example)

How do you know that it's a square wave?

While I haven’t tested it with an olliscope, it’s known that Ecoflow batteries won’t work (or well) with non-pure sine wave inverters. Dometic fridges will, however it’s not great for the electronics. I plugged my d2 into the 120V port. Set it at 200W (well below 400W max), turned on the upfitter switch and will not charge with car running.

Take it to house outlet and charges just fine. My ram truck is the same way, cheap non-pure sine wave inverter and similar results with various electronics .

If this is working for others on their 6g4r I’d be super curious - there’s another thread on this in this forum
Iirc too.

Also keep in mind that for the LC250 Toyota could be using a different model inverter. This is not likely, but is possible.
Where's an O-Scope when you need one?!
