Rear plastic bumper scratch fix

Just purchased a 2026 4Runner TRD and the rear plastic bumper was nicked putting a piece of furniture in the back and now there is a faint scratch. Any ideas on how to remove the scratch?

Paint scratches are pretty clear if it's below the clear coat and into the paint no buffing will remove that unless it's very very shallow.. if it's a clear coat scuff then you can probably buff it out with some headlight cleaner then wax it.

But look on the bright side at least you did it.

I bought a handful of packing blankets Through The Years from Harbor Freight that are really cheap.
That solves a lot of my interior scratch issues. I'm always hauling various things.
Those blankets have saved my bumper and interior.

There’s essentially no way to fix scratches in that kind of plastic. Cover it, live with it or replace it or your only options.

You can go down to YouTube rabbit hole, where people fix it with heat and so forth personally not worth the risk for me.
