(apologies for the night pic, I don't know why my phone did that. I'll try to get a better pic later and update the post)

Ordered these lights off Amazon from OKLSG. With tax, they cost roughly $47, so not a bad price at all.

The install looks great and fit very snug. No shaking or any loose fitting feeling at all which I was worried about. It's a tight fit, and it felt like I was going to break them at times putting them in the grille, but once in they fit and look great. I have no complaints. Wiring was no issue at all (I hooked mine up to the engine start fuse so I don't have to turn these on every time manually, although you can hook them up to the aux switches if you would like).

I did have to cut the fuse box a bit to route the wire through, but that was fairly easy.

I've had these on for less than 24 hours so I can't speak to how they hold up in the long run, but fitment, they way the look and the ease in which I was able to wire these up, I'm very impressed so far.

Nice indeed. Was install difficult?

Could you give an update on the lights and possibly some more pics at night? I am also curious if the amber matches the amber in the headlights.

Someone in the Subaru Reddit posted once because a lot of folks were adding these to their vehicles that this is the pumpkin spice latte of car mods and I have to chuckle whenever I see them.

Yes, I would say it does match the amber pretty well, however it's quite a bit brighter than the amber as you can see in this photo. I have a feeling that if you have the upgraded headlights, it might match even better, but by no means does it look like they shouldn't be there (again, I don't know what's up with my camera, apologies)

Nice amber lights. Planning to get one, somehow.
Nothing wrong with your camera :) i think the glare came from your case covering the camera lens.

Did they wires route through the small hole at the top of the grille shutter? Or did you have to route them through one of the shutters?

I disagree. They are meant to be running lights. The original DRLs. I prefer the ambers over the actual headlights on all of the time. I would consider the new puddle light offerings meeting the criteria you speak of. Puddle lights are meant to light the path to your vehicle at night.
