Also the same reason aircraft have heaters on some of their sensors to prevent icing. Alas I just deal with it.works fine if you get a storm during the night and it passes thru.
different story when you are driving down the road/highway and it cakes up on the sensors. this is the most annoying part from slush, heavy snowfall or snow melting from the hood onto the sensors and freezing.
i just normally drive w/o radar CC and just use the normal constant cruise control. also i have most of the nannies turned off or turned down to the lowest distance setting.
