Platinum and Digital Key Capability

The spec sheet on Toyota's web site says Digital Key is unavailable, and you can't order it on the model. Yet Limited, Trailhunter and Pro you can. Can someone confirm that Digital Key capability comes out of the box on this trim or is the website correct you cannot get this capability?

The digital key comes as a standard item on the Platinum. The other models you can order it to have it.

I see. I was looking at Options but it's also listed in "Interior". That's sneaky. But if I didn't know it wasn't an option this is misleading.

Correct....you were looking in options where it is not an option as it is standard in the interior section.. They were sneaky.

Did your car come with the wallet key card? Would that work without cellular service which can be an issue for the phone digital key?

Worth noting the digital key is dogsh*t and I'm glad I didn't end up paying for it. Removed mine from my phone. Over half the time it wouldn't let me lock my car because it thought the phone was still in the car. Even after changing the sensitivity. I would also never fully trust leaving my fob behind so again, useless for me. If you have an Android phone, you also cannot download the key if you have Developer Options enabled. My unsolicited two cents.

just remember, turn off the digital key function in the settings menu in the vehicle.
