Might be a long shot here. I am still waiting for my Fold 8 to ship and I haven't pulled the trigger on the Off-Roam mag mount that goes up near the start button. Does anyone currently have this combo and have any information of whether the phone fits okay? I was worried it might be too wide. I have the 14" infotainment so only wondering about usage with that screen.

I got the S26 Ultra but fitment should be similar for your Fold. I have a Magsafe case.

I don't have the wireless magsafe charging feature, just the mount. Wireless charging, from any aftermarket vendor, and not Samsung, always limited the power to 10W & under. Your phone will get hot & not fast charge.

I use a direct USB-C charging from one of the OEM port that provides 15W.

Only an OEM Samsung wireless charging adapter can do 25W direct.

Perfect. Thank you.

I have the S25 Ultra now and I'm trading in towards the Fold 8.

Looks like closed the Fold 8 is only 3.8mm wider than your S26 Ultra, so that should be fine.

I'd also only being doing mag and no charging, same as you. I'll go ahead and order it.

I have the mount, and a wireless charger with a built-in fan from Amazon. Pixel 10 Pro with a decent sized case fits fine next to the 14" screen.

i am curious, why mount there? it looks like the wheel is blocking 1/2 of the phone screen ?

or is it the out of the corner of my eye, i need to grab my phone before i leave the vehicle ?

personally i usually just put my phone on the wireless charging pad (it actually works now with my 26 ultra) vs our 23 tundra wireless pad that never works, or i just put it in the cup holder for short trips, long trips i just use the wireless pad since i dont need my phone.

I don't look at or interact with my phone while driving so blocking is of no concern.

I've been thinking about doing wired Android Auto since I have dropouts still while passing certain radio towers. Cable could be routed a lot cleaner with the phone mounted up there.

I still leave my phone in the car from time to time sitting on the wireless charging pad now, so doubt this would be much different.

The Fold 8 is too short to work on the wireless charging pad as well.
