Installed Bulletpoint RubiGrid Mount (14" screen)

I installed the Bulletpoint RubiGrid® 2024+ Toyota Tacoma Dash Mount on my 2026 4Runner Off-Road Premium with the 14" screen. Figured since the dashes are supposed to be the same it would work fine.

Install went pretty well. I'm not sure if it's supposed to snug up to the dash more, or if my drill holes on the template were a bit off. Either way it feels sturdy.

how hard was it to remove that cover ?? pretty stiff/tight and required some pressure or was it easy to pry off ??

the wife wants a replacement for her tundra install of the same mount system for her top tray she had in her tundra.

edit : looks lilke it would benefit from some padding to negate any rubbing that may occur from that odd contact patch between the back of the display and the bulletpoint tray.

or a space underneath to raise the front of the tray.

The cover was very easy to pop off. The hardest part was the 4 bolts they provided. I had a lot of trouble getting them in, and I think I cross threaded a bit. I'm not sure if this was my error or just that they are very tight. I think some foam or rubber used like a base or gasket would look cleaner.

When I installed mine it was very easy and I love my BulletPoint system. I have added a Picatinny rail and multiple mounting points. It currently supports three devices: My cell phone which is nested in the charger that grips the phone automatically, another charging station for the passenger, the LCD controller for my BantamX sPod and a iPad mini (for long trips)
