Went off roading in some trails with some buddies on Sunday. Pretty easy light trails and attempted some trickier climbs. This 4Runner is a beast I’d tell you that. She is no pavement princess no more.

I’m pretty new to it so any advice for gear or setup would appreciated!
Has anyone else go off road with their new 4Runner yet?

Post your off roading pics in your 4Runner.

awesome, planning to hit this up in a couple months. are you stock? any scraping?
Stock plus Westcott lift. Exhaust scraped on 2 very steep uphill sections otherwise no bumps. I was aired down to 20psi and ran in 4hi. I was pretty nervous and orginally had another trial planned for that day but needed a drink when I was done. I would have felt alot better if I had a real skid plate knowing I had protection. If you haven't been on the trail before even using on X I had to get out and look around to try and understand which way the trial runs. I ended following a Jeep EV X or whatever its called and they ended bashing their plates a few times allowing me to pick a better line. So if you see the pink jeeps or another person not a bad idea to have someone to follow. I skipped the submarine offshoot as that I didn't think I would make without a good spotter or skids.

How did the OEM Pro tires do? I personally would have got aftermarket tires with full tread life. The OEM tires are not the usual tread life you’d think.
