Installed the new TRD performance air cleaner. The housing and air intake hose fit perfectly!!PN: PTRO3-35250-AM
I did move the sensor over and it is faced the same direction. I am confirming part numbersThe sensor is different and located in a different location than the standard MAF. I'm pretty sure OTT has a patch for this
The whole box is different. So yes, the location is different. I live too far from an OTT tuner. I may call the dealer and see if they know any way to resolve.I'm pretty sure the location is different
Yes, I ordered the correct part and now am getting a check engine lightThis topic has been covered on here more than once. Are you the person who ordered the TRD CAI and couldn't get the piece that connected to the throttle body?

After driving about 10 minutes I got a check engine light. My OBD tool indicated MAF airflow out of tolerance and Air Temp too low. Would not let me clear the codes. I reinstalled the old air box to clear them. I will say, it drove amazing until the codes. Seemed to be much more responsive and had what felt like more HP. And the turbo spooling sound was very defined.
Looking at the bottom of the TRD air box there is an opening where the trail hunter snorkel attaches. I did not plug that hole and have the boot that goes there. I am wondering if that is part of the issue
I also need to check if this has a different MAF for the new TRD air box
ToyoTech808 would that plug cause a MAF engine fault?Yes that plug on the fender side of the airbox is plugged on the trd pro. That opening is for the trail hunter snorkel. The MAF sensors are the same part numbers from the Pro trailhunter and non pro.
Thank you for the update.
