I was going to post this in the other thread, but felt like it needed a thread of it's own. Here's the other thread that has all of the pics and install videos.
The goal: Install the OEM Air Compressor in a Hybrid that already has the connector and mounting location ready to go
The issue: The fuse leg was missing from the fuse box where the 50 amp fuse is. I pulled the fuse and one of the legs were missing. See pic below
The solution: Run my own power, re-use the OEM connector, and find and use the ignition signal.
Things to know...
The OEM compressor module has 4 wires. 2 for power, 2 for ignition signal and to check to see if the brake is on. In the other video, you will see people had to ground the brake wire to trick the module into thinking the brake was on.
If there is an ignition signal in the back, I couldn't easily find it. The Hybrid has the 120VAC, so I couldn't use the 12V adapter wire used in other trims.
although the fuse box ZI used was great to find and easy to run the wire to, the fuse adapter prevents you from putting the fuse box lid back on and the under cover that hides it all has to be forced close and it sticks out a tiny bit, but not noticeable.
Look at the other thread above to see more pics form my setup.

Video shows basically what I did and where I found the ignition signal

Ground Wire Note Video
And here I owe an apology. I was so excited to get it all buttoned up, I forgot the after video. Rest assured it all works.
