so to begin with, i am building a rather big sound quality stereo system in my truck. today was the first day that i really got into the nitty gritty of it and started tapping into the speaker outlet wires from the amp. i need a full range signal for my dsp. so anyways, after connecting the amps wiring into the tweeters and replacing the dash mids, i went on to locate the factory wiring for the midbass in the doors. the color codes are completely different from the door wiring to the amp wiring. i had to take out my seat to get to the factory amp. so that entails having to unplug the fan, airbags and seat motors. no biggie, done it before with no issues. today though i go in with the same procedure and after re-installing the seat, i get warning lights all over my dash cluster and messages about airbags and headlamps malfunction and to go see a dealer. i do have a OBD2 scanner that plugs in and i managed to clear out 10 of the codes that popped up but i still have stuff associated with srs and it saying there was an impact of sorts, which i did not. my question is do i really need to take this truck into the dealer to have them clear that all out and is there anyone that has had that happen and how much did it cost.
