MNTN Toad Build Volks, Westcott and Rago. Baja Design

Iast week i installed rims and tires. Volks graphite 18x9.5 +22 offset wheels with 295/70/18 Recon Grapplers.

The following day I installed the OTT tune. Awesome and worth it.So far i have
Westcott sliders installed
Rago Winch bumper without winch
Rago center console molle
Baja Designs onyyx6 20” light bar in bumper
Baja Designs squadron Pro ditch lights
Underground rear view mirror cups
Stealth rearview mirror sequential turn signals
Diode dynamics rear hitch light

Loks awesome. Love the Volks and glad you went with SL loads . But damn, how you avergaing 18 mpg? The best I have been able to get is 16.9mpg and I was babying it.

I saw that mileage in the mntns and hills. My thought is while in cruise on flatter terrain The OTT tune allows the turbo to spool up fast and bump i was up to speed faster and then you’re in the top gear and you’re just cruising. On the way out, it would just drag out to get to my speed slowly and then settle in the gear which i believe does not help mileage. . I was pretty surprised and this was my second tank of gas for the day out of bucees in Birmingham, Alabama 93 octane heading to Atlanta . The day before it was all about 16 to 17.5 through Arkansas hills into Mississippi.

Got it. I didn't take into account the tune. Maybe that's helping, and maybe the 93 octane helps. Here in CA we only get up to 91 which is a shame, so maybe that's it. Plus I'm sure my roof rack and steal bumper isn't helping either. Lastly, those Volks must be much much lighter than the stock Pro wheels so there's that too...Thanks for the intel.

Installed Raptor lights and the underground matching rear view mirror buckets and smoked sequential turn signals.

Rago front bumper install with BD onyx6 to aux2 . Thanks to squawbums video 2 1/2 hours. thinking I could put the sixth recovery hooks back on with a space and longer bolts.

A little over 7 months and 12k miles I think my only gripe is the small cup holders. Latest add on is the SXTH intercooler straightforward about 3 1/2 hours. Me coming from Vegas and having gen one Broncos I’ve always been a big fan of helping the motor stay cool. And a motor with a turbo i definitely i want to keep some of that heat down so it makes sense to me. Do I feel it’s something absolutely needed or Toyota somehow overlooked it, not at all.Wondering if it is worth going to sixth air intake over my TRD pro intake.

Maybe it's the lighting in your garage, but did you get a wrap? It kinda looks like it in this picture.

Look at you nothing goes past your eyes, I’mma tell you the truth no, I didn’t get a wrap. The phone did some weird thing on the photo, but it looks pretty damn good. I would say looks like matte wrap
