Missing cross member bar in the ARB 3/4 roof rack

Added the extra slat this weekend. I know it's totally silly and unnecessary but it just felt weird not having the full complement. Worth the $115 IMO.

Very nice but the entire setup is so darn overpriced. If it was a gate to a cow fence the whole thing would cost about $99 at Tractor Supply.

I didn't even notice it was missing until this thread. Guess I'll snag one too. Anyone know if this "service kit" are the bolts you need?

@shine said on page 2 that his came with the bolts so I figured I’d wait and see before ordering any mounting hardware.

Thanks! I misread that post on page one from OP saying they needed a T40 bit as bolt. I'll wait then and I'm sure the bar will come with it.

I stumbled upon this. Can anyone that added the 5th slat confirm/deny any interference with the antenna?

I installed the 5th crossbar today. It came with the hardware. I have only pulled it into the garage since installing so will need to test reception further, but my Sirius XM was working which was a good sign. I’ll report back in the next day or two when I have time to test more thoroughly.

No issues after installing mine. I never even thought about it causing a problem or what it was over. I was also only using a step stool so I don’t have the full view. I also haven’t mounted anything to the rack yet.

I also have zero issues with reception from Sirius XMor FM and use CarPlay for nav so no issues there either.

Maybe Toyota was just playing it safe. Good to know there are no issues for at least a few folks.
