You sound like a smart guy, which makes me very surprised to learn that you ever owned a Jeep to begin with, yet took that Jeep on off-grid type adventures. Any list of reliable vehicles I've ever seen included zero Jeep models and multiple Toyota models. I think you and your wife can go on future adventures with much more confidence while driving a Toyota 4Runner. Congrats.Nope, they were very trusting and just had me mail the title+spare key once we got home. They had initially made the trade-in offer without a test drive given the trailer being attached, but we were very open about what was going on. The next morning we disconnected the trailer so they could give it a drive and they definitely noticed something with the transmission, but said they would honor their offer. Once they said that, the deal was done.
If you want to go into the bush, take a ???. If you want to get out of the bush, take a toyota
