Hi all, I was wondering, does the 4Runner have a way to unlock the vehicle without the key, using some series of button presses on the tailgate or elsewhere?
For example, my old Subaru would allow you to program a series of 5 button presses on the tailgate button to unlock the vehicle.
This was really convenient in cases where I wanted to unlock my vehicle but didn't have my keys on me, or if I did some activity like surfing where I leave the key fob disarmed and hidden inside the car.
So far, I haven't been able to find anything online or in the owner's manual for setting this up. Is there such a feature on the 4Runner or am I out of luck?
