This one is REALLY bothering me. Not talking about the plastic bumpers compared to body panels (I know that is almost impossible to avoid). Compare the front and rear doors. Wanting to see if anyone else has noticed this and had it corrected. I have checked out a number of others in parking lots and see the same thing. Appears that Toyota's paint calibration really sucks.

go to a paint shop and use a sensor
or download an app on your phone
to analyze the specific color and shade in each panel

if it deviates in the sensor, bring it up at the dealer I reckon
you are owed a better paint job

data from a legitimate color sensor will put this to rest

sad to say, ever since toyota went to the water based paint, this happens more so than not. i see it only with toyota's white colors no matter the model

can't have it all

water based paints allow brighter bolder colors
--reduces air pollution--it's regulatory... car mfg have no choice
require more prep and more care to adhere properly
are harder to maintain
costs more overall

I can tell you if I'm going to pay this amount of money for a new car I should expect the body panels with match in color. Crazy they are letting this happen.

I’m sorry. Whenever you buy an other vehicle don’t get white. If it were me I’d move away from white after you’re experience

White is and always will be the easiest to maintain and resell.
It hides the most such as swirls and scuffs.

The dealer will most likely offer a cut polish.....
