Hood scratch - touch up paint?

I have a minor hood scratches at the top corner identical location quarter size.

I assume it's from propping up the hood at a higher angle? Probably not

Is this normal with all current 4Runners?

And is the touch up marker enough to fix it?

The 4Runner was bought used with low miles and a decent deal, I was aware of it and hoped it's just a minor touch up?

if you lift the hood, can you tell what this is coming into contact with?

I have no clue at the moment.

And you guys are right there is no rubbing at all when opening the hood at beyond the two.

I bought at carmax at 9k miles. Had it looked at a dealership during my 1hr test drive.

And had it checked up post purchase during the 10 day return window. Dealer said there's no issues with the 4r.

Nothing I can do to replicate it the area of the scratches right.

I wonder if it's during shipping,

Should I just get the touch up done at the dealer or local, myself?

Sounds like you bought it used and overlooked the damage.

Check the hood hinges, bolts, washers, etc. for signs of cracked paint that may indicate that the hood had been removed.

Hinges and washers are all good, hood does not look like it has been removed

That's what's I'm thinking panel have good alignment, my local Toyota dealer found nothing wrong. I'm assuming it's either a car cover since original owner was in the north east
