I once heard someone describe a 4Runner as a Jeep that doesn’t break. LOL!

Very nice. What size are those Ridge Grapplers?
What size tires are those? They look larger than the Nittos that came on my SR5.
They’re the 265 70r 18 tires that normally come as an option in the TRD Off Road trims. There is one of those at PC Toyota in Everest and I told my salesman I wanted those. I need black lugs now though. 💸

I replaced my lugs with black as well.

Anyone have suggestions for all weather floor mats? I had Weathertech in my Jeep and last Tahoe and they got all bent out of shape and curled up. Are the Toyota mats good? (Also, can’t believe the SR5 doesn’t even has stock carpet mats either.)

Also, anyone had PPF and ceramic coatings done and can give objective benefits of both?

Check this thread:

Husky X-act Contour Floor Mats Liners installed 2026 ORP (non-hybrid)

Much better coverage than the OEM PIO all weather mats that came with our ORP.

Also had these in our 2020 Ranger for 5+ years without any problems.

The Huskies and Lasfit are both great. LASFIT Floor Mats for Toyota... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F65C7GF2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Drove approximately 13 Jeeps of various sizes/shapes over the past 50+ years from WWII military surplus to modern models. Most were weekend warriors, modded with winches, tires/wheels, lifts, lockers, etc. Took them mudding, rocks, etc., rolled a couple, put them right side up and drove them home.

Drove a few Cherokees daily in the 80's and 90's. All were very reliable and trail worthy. Had a '03 Tahoe for a long time, 240K miles, best vehicle I've owned, great road and very capable trail vehicle. Kids went to Purdue and I didn't need a that big of a vehicle any longer. '16 Jeep Wrangler Willys Edition was most recent Jeep. Had it for 10 years, never had a single mechanical problem, just got old (me) and wanted a better riding and quieter DD.

4Runner fit the bill. I need 4WD for the farm and so far, the Toy has done well in that category.

Good and bad points about both, Wranglers have a lot of wind noise, standard from the factory and basically uncurable, you don't even have to pay extra. OTOH, the cruise control on the Jeep never became "unavailable" due to a dime size spot of bird crap in just the wrong place on the windshield like the Toy. Also don't care for all of the tech 'features' on the Toy. A vehicle shouldn't need a nearly 700 page owner's manual plus a separate book for the radio.
