Looks great! Are you going to be mass producing these if people want to purchase one?
I appreciate that, thank you! I may consider building some but right now it's a one off build for my rig. My plan is to enjoy it in the wild with my family not be stuck in the garage. Been there done that. Its time to pursue some peace.

I'm loving all these custom builds people have with aluminum extrusion. Where did you get yours (and all the attachments/components/drawer slides) if I may ask?

Amazon. They have tons of options for attachments etc. It's completely modular and can be changed easily vs a wood build thats more or less permanent. Here's some screenshots of what I ordered.

That's awesome -thanks so much.
You're welcome. There was also some 15" of the 2020 extrusions I ordered as well and then a kit of extra screws and the Tslot nuts. I think it was around $12. All in all I think I have around $300 into the frame.

What are you using to cut it? From what I've read online a carbide blade on a table saw should do the trick.

Aluminum blade for my chop saw. Cuts like butter. 80 bucks at home depot for the 12". Prices vary with the size of saw

Awesome work. Turned out great.

Did you apply some blue thread locker to all the t-nuts?

How are the wood panels secured to the extrusion frame?

Thank you! I did not because I was basically designing it as I went so it had to come apart several times as it evolved however I'm sure at some point that will become a requirement to keep the set screws from backing out. As for the wood, quarter inch fits into the slots loosely which is one of the reasons I used bedliner to seal the wood and tighten the fit. I ran cross rails on the bottom of the drawer in case the quarter inch couldn't hand the weight of any gear that I throw in there but so far everything is working as planned.

I’m currently driving home to Atlanta after a few weeks in Colorado. My custom storage held up well with all the vibrations, but I did redo all my extrusion hardware with Loctite 243 because it loosened up on its own without it.

My design only uses extrusion for the shelf. After seeing your build, I’m wishing I had constructed my frame the way you did.

Nice build as well though. The extrusion is pretty easy to work with but I built this on the fly. Had I actually drawn out some plans first it would've been even easier. I kinda had an idea in my mind and just rolled with it. I'm super happy with is so far but I do agree that the bolts will need loctite before too long

I took the same approach. Well, I had plans but quickly realized my wood working skills didn’t allow me to build as precise as my CAD design. For the shelf, I totally built it on the fly… only to realize there was no way to get the full width shelf into the truck as a single piece. Had to start over and create side supports as a 3 piece design. Always something.

Enjoy your new set up. Really love the premade fridge/stove slide integration.
