well thats an issue at the state not for troy. some dealerships probably ganged up and got some stupid reg/bill passed to restrict out of state sellers to screw the in state people out of more money on the premise of protecting the consumers from scammers and not the colluding dealerships jacking the prices up for their benefit.

just an opinion

and i am not surprised cali leads the charge in this, from the state that retroactively charges you an exit tax for leaving the state regardless of when you left.

yeah some other reputable sellers had this issue within their state and only asked for a other state mailing address (cough) friend (cough)

its so they dont get black listed for selling outside the rules of toyota financial usa (its cause dealers gouging customers complain to toyota usa that someone is under cutting them by $1000's)

hence why is paramount we dont post price matrix's on posts or other toyota proprietary info on websites (only thru DM's), it get these good guys in trouble and they get restricted to sell in state only.

have seen it happen back in the 2010's where my original guy got busted and lost the ability to sell out of state for a while but i think is he back to selling out of state again.

i cant remember if it was jerry or troy that got banned back in 2016 but i ended up using jennifer up in michigan during his ban.

and i have used troy in the 2010's, so he has been doing this for quite a while (i have old emails from him) where the plans only went up to 8yrs/125k for $1500 back in 2016 based on an old email)
