Drawer System + Dual Battery Project

The build is coming along! Next weekend we tear apart rear panels to start tying into oem circuits. Missing a few things still but wanted to show the group some progress!

Products in pictures:
- Renogy 100ah core mini lithium battery
- REDARC BCDC1225D Battery Charger
- Switch Pro SP9100
- Dometic Fridge CFX3 45

Next Tasks:
- Pull the rear panels to splice into taillight signal for dim feature on switchpro
- Splice into rear cigarette lighter for 12v accessory signal
- power cigarette lighter port from switch pro to connect fridge to 2nd battery
- BCDC will also need ignition trigger so considering also splicing into tailight
- Run ARB single compressor power from 2nd battery to engine bay

Thanks! The BCDC is a battery isolator and charger all in one. It’ll do all the managing but it’ll charge off the alternator.

Do you have a dc-dc charger between the first and second battery? Trying to figure out if I need one. I want to hook up a second battery for my fridge and was just going to hook it direct to the battery in the back.

i do! i use the Redarc BCDC1225D. Works as a charger and an isolator. I think there’s way to isolate batteries with just a relay but i think things get complicated with the alternators we have now. The redarc bcdc takes care of that logic.
