You buy on Amazon you better swap out the mounting hardware. Even here in the desert they rust.

It seems that most of the hardware with any of the ad-on mods are crap and should be replaced before they start to rust. My WCD slider hardware looks 10 years old and had to replaced (that's a story in itself), roof rack is only on since Dec and hardware is already starting to change color.

Weird this is, The black oxide bolts I get through Amazon are better than the stuff coming with the add-ons.

BTW, running CaliRaise ditch lights with their mount, except for the hardware, no issues and plenty bright.

So the black oxide works better? Was looking into a roof rack too and it comes with that hardware.

I went with the HXB. I really like them. They're super bright but a nice tone of amber. I had to use the on a really rainy foggy night and the cut through the mess with no issues. And they arent super big. I didnt want anything getting in the way of my field of vision.
Nice! How’s the throw on them (distance the light reaches )?
The reason I was so interested in the morimoto 4bangers was because they’re so small yet powerful.

I am the worst judge of distance. But I will say that I have no trouble seeing anything they are pointed at. I did the driving combo which gives me half spot and half flood. A pure spot would definitely give a longer beam, but I liked having is partially flooded because it really lit the road as a whole.
