Hey Folks, I have a Hybrid version
And I know it’s good practice to disconnect the battery to avoid problems and any shorts.

There’s Two Batteries.

Which Battery do I disconnect the black and red?

will doing this reset the major settings?

Just disconnect the ground on the battery that’s on the back. Do not touch the hybrid battery The settings will come back the same way they were before.

Can you please provide a picture if you don't mind. I'm a visual learner.

It’s the battery that is off to the left if you are looking into your cargo area from the rear. Right below the tire jack. The hybrid battery is underneath the cargo area and more difficult to access.

FWIW I do lots of electrical projects (for instance installed Diode Dynamics ditch lights last week) and I never bother to disconnect the battery. Obviously do what makes you feel safe but as long as you're not arbitrarily connecting wires where they don't belong it's not necessary.
