Deciding on full rack or 3/4 roof rack

What do you think about the gen 6 pioneer platform? Im thinking of getting the 3/4 length. How's wind noise? Thanks.

iv had it on my rig for about 4 months now and i love it. Wind noise is not bad at all. Highway at 110 km/h you hear it slightly but the tire noise is more noticeable then the roof rack.
All in im very happy with it.

Thanks. Is that the 59 inch length x49 width platform?
I already have rhino rack crossbars but would rather switch to a platform, i think i can use the same "feet" from my crossbars. The next size platform up is 75 inches long which seems pretty long for the rails on the 4runner.

yes. Mine is the 59 length. Anything longer would be to big IMO.

I know I'm late to the party but thought this might help someone else decide on their hair style. For my modded 2026 Limited, I went with "receding hairline" 3/4 Westcott Design for several reasons. Moonroof not blocked, less wind noise, and it had enough real estate for what I needed. The price wasn't cheap but the rack is solid and IMO looks better than the full "Flat Top hair style" rack! i

I would strongly recommend the Westcott Designs Modular roof rack. It fits the full length, hower you can still open the moon roof w/o any issues. Their customer service is beyond reproach. Their owner will be happy to assist you with any issues you are experiencing and gives out his cell phone # so you can reach him anytime.
