I will probably end up ordering the Trailhunter or the PRO and keep my LC until then. My experience with the service departments in both Toyota dealerships I have used in the past 6 years has been very poor.
Curious what went wrong with the LC. I consider trading my ORP for one every time I see one on the road.

Also, do you know how much they're charging you for just the TRD OEM suspension kit? Been considering that, but might just install it in my garage as I assume the dealer wants $1500 at least to install

If you're not in a hurry then waiting for the Pro is an option. However it doesn't look like Toyota is in a rush to get them to dealers. I've pretty much accepted that if I want a Pro it'll be a 2027 model. That's fine with me as it seems like Toyota is still working out a few bugs. Plus it gives me the chance to see next year's special color.

The trail hunter is a love it or hate it option. If you like the look of the snorkel then you'll be happy. If not then it looks silly. I'm not a fan of it so the TH is out. While I also don't like the bronze wheels I can see where other people would love both.

I think Toyota does a few questionable things when it comes to the Pro and TH. Limited colors for example. Only one style/color wheel option, and not making the snorkel an option. Making a simple trim piece to hide the hole for the snorkel would be easy and make the TH appealing to more people. If it didn't obstruct the view or make noises at speed it would be different IMO.

The Pro really needs to do something with the fake hood scoop. It doesn't bother me much but knowing it's a fake would never exit my mind. Toyota could have nailed it had they put the intercooler on top of the engine and used the scoop for cold air. I had a 90 Celica All Track Turbo that was set up like that. You could see the intercooler just barely through the scoop. Once you opened the hood it became the center piece. Personally I would love to see that set up with the scoop having two openings (kind of like a mean looking nose).

I believe my experience has been mostly bad luck, I got a wonky one. Main problem was with the panels that were not adjusted correctly which made clicking noises in both C pillars and one B pillar when it got warm during summer, spend a total of about 3 weeks at the dealership. Bad lug nuts in two different tires, one of the fog lights has been loose since I got it so it vibrates depending on the road conditions. Rattle galore in the cabin, some I have been able to identify and fix but the majority have been impossible to find and drive me crazy on long drives. The central armrest in the front sounds like a tin can when you rest your arm and pops here and there depending on how cold or hot it is outside. I still have a 2020 ORP that feels more solid, has no rattles and has been to the shop only for its schedule maintenance.
The dealership would be charging more like $2K for the install of OEM lift kit.

Not in a rush but both Toyota dealers that I am considering have quoted 4-8 months (nuts!).

I completely agree on the things that give many of us second thoughts on both models. For me it’s the air intake in the TH and the cheese grater looking thing on the PRO. Also, not a fan of either in terms of interior but after watching 100 videos comparing both the TH has gotten my vote. I like the bronze wheels and how it looks with the Everest color. I am in Colorado and I find it better suited for what I will be doing vs the PRO.

Saying you don't like the high air intake is one thing, calling it silly seems like something else. It very much has a function, granted one that won't be used a lot, but it does serve a purpose.

Now, whether or not you like, tolerate, or hate the sound it makes is completely justified. However, there are two ways to get rid of it very easily if that is the only thing keeping you from a Trailhunter, https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/trailhunter-snorkel-sound-noise-music-–-eliminated-no-more.6934/

I have seen good dealers and bad ones in terms of letting them add mods to the vehicle. It all depends. It will be a dice roll, however, getting it done at the dealer means you could at least escalate if things turn bad if you go the ORP route.
Solid choice. After a number of mods (full steel skids, rock sliders, etc.) I realized that I just should have gotten a Trailhunter - then I would have SDM and not have to do this for the challenging rock crawling I've found my way to:

Sway bar link disconnected.

BTW - My view is that those Trailhunter features (full skids, sliders) make it a slightly "better value" than the PRO. (of course they both get SDM) Sort of the same way that the Off-road is a better value than the Sport for roughly the same price (IFF you will be taking advantage of those features (e.g., MTM, locking rear diff, suspension, beefier tires). YMMV
Appreciate the input, transferring my deposit to the TH today, hopefully the wait is not that long.

Good luck! Looks like a couple Everest Trailhunters are on the way to two different dealers in CO. Says they have holds but not always accurate.
