If you're on the fence about getting a tune, here's a non-car guy's perspective. I just had Ryan at Colorado Toyota Tuning put the Enhanced tune on my 2025 4Runner and the difference behind the wheel is noticeable immediately. Throttle response is much more linear, shifting is smoother, and the truck just feels more alive even on a short daily commute.

Ryan and Adam are super knowledgeable and helpful from the first message. Answering all my questions and made a solid recommendation for Enhanced based on my specific setup and driving profile. My husband calls this truck my midlife crisis (first the wrap, now the tune), but even he can't argue with the results.

Nice, appreciate the review here. I was looking into these guys as i think they are the only outfit in the Denver area on the authorized OTT tune list when i was looking at getting a SXTH element intake for my TRD Pro and noticed that a tune is required for the Pro and Trailhunter. Good to see positive reviews!

p.s. anyone with a pro or trailhunter running a sxth element intake with an OTT tune?

Tell her to do it. It’s honestly something I’m very glad I did. The power!!

How does it affect fuel efficiency? Power/responsiveness is certainly nice, but my stock ORP Hybrid already has plenty of both even in Eco mode, so I would rather not trade out fuel efficiency. It is quite good for what it is (I get between 23.5 and 24 overall unless actually off-roading) but is sitll not stellar.

Honestly, I did it more for responsiveness since the non-hybrid didn’t feel as good as the hybrid to me. Fuel economy-wise, I can’t say for sure yet since there’s supposed to be a 500-mile adjustment period. From what I’ve seen, most people lose about 1–2 mpg. Mine was already pretty bad though since I do mostly city driving, so I’m usually around 17–18 mpg anyway.
