So I don’t sit and dig every in and out of my car. They’re great cars, a stable 4x4 that does its job on the trails, and is good for my family. Anyway, I go between two time zones a lot but they only differ when the one I visit has DLS, my state does not. I previously had a 2020 and not only did my clock change automatically but it would even announce what state I entered. “Welcome to..” the 2025 don’t even change clocks??? I’ve done the DLS toggle in settings and set time manually. It still doesn’t work. What the hell am I doing wrong.

I've seen settings for both in the center screen, you just have to work your way through the options.

I find the auto-change of timezone to be confusing. Yes it's good to know what the local time is, but I like to have at least one clock that stays consistent as I travel in and out of Navajo country in northern AZ. Or Eastern OR. Or between Northern and Southern ID.

I have Toyota connected services turned off in my 4R and need to always adjust the time manually for DLS.

Can I turn on Connected Services without paying for one of the packages and without the vehicle sending them data to sell?

I am pretty sure my clock not only did not change with timezone, it did not switch DST. I had to toggle it off in the menus.

Our road trip in October took us through timezones, states. Set your time settings in the multimedia system to use GPS for time. Your clock will automatically change when you cross timezones. We got "Welcome to ..." messages when crossing state lines in our ORP.
