Took me three different cargo mats before finding this one that rocks!

RECAP- Toyota does not make a FULL size rear cargo mat for seven seater 4Runners. Found that out the hard way by purchasing both the HALF baked rear mat that just covers behind the third row when it's up and also the FULL size rear cargo mat for the five seater. Well the shape of the rear cargo area of the five seater and the seven seater are different, and the FULL size rear cargo mat for the five seater isn't a clean fit. Lucky for me I was able to return the FULL size rear cargo mat for the five seater for full price including being refunded for shipping. Then saw posts about this exact thing and felt foolish.

After comparing Lasfit's offering for the seven seater 4Runner with WeatherTech's seven seater offering. I went with the FULL size cargo mat from WeatherTech, and let me tell you why. Lasfit's FULL mat comes as many panels that adhere to the backs of the third row which lets the owner open and close the third row on demand, where as WeatherTech is a traditional one-piece mat that doesn't allow for that.

Like others I went with a SR5 so that I would not waste money on suspension that I was going to swap out. But part of me convincing myself to get the SR5 7-seater was that I could cover the entirety of the third row and it would be a sleeper 7-seater for just in case my fam keeps growing. When I couldn't find a one-piece solution I was frustrated/disappointed. Well done and Thank you to WeatherTech. Ground shipping was cheap ~$8.50 and I received it in ~4 days.

Nice mat but way too expensive compared to LASFIT. It covers all the cargo area WITH the 2nd-row back covers as well as the bottom of the 2nd row. This is for the 5 seaters.

Not many people has the 7-seater due to limited space but good for you to found one you like.

How are you going to hide the mat if you need the 3rd row up when out and about?

Nice to know you found one that fits correctly while covering the third row. Same boat here, I took what was allocated due to trim and colors I wanted, just have to live with the 3rd row.

I had the same setup in my Gen5 to cover the 3rd row as well (but husky liner). I actually still use that same mat in my Gen6 because it has the 1" perimeter lip (though it is slightly smaller and not an exact fit - so it sits on top of the 7-seater Lasfit panels). I'm not a fan of all the seams and shortness of the lip on the Lasfit, but that's just me.

On my Gen5 if I ever needed the 3rd row, I'd either take the rear liner out at home or just roll it up and stick it behind the 3rd row if absolutely had to (it flattens back out with some sunlight on a hot day).

Lastfits's 7-seater rear cargo mat is 16 dollars less expensive than the WeatherTech's option.
The one piece basin that the weathertech cargo mat provides eliminates the seam present in Lasfit's mats. That alone justifies it for me because I want to keep sand from slipping below the mat.

Will only remove/ convert the rear cargo mat to the half baked one at home so I can store the larger one in the garage.

Cool that the Gen 5 mat works for your situation! For some the 7-seater makes sense it's like having the cake and eating it too! Nice Limited!

I also have the weather tech in my SR5 7 seater… my only complaint is that it does slide/shift a bit and get in the way of the tailgate occasionally.

That looks great. I was forced, so to speak, to take the Toyota version upon vehicle delivery. It covers the folded 3rd row to the tailgate but like the Lastfit has open seams to allow raising the 3rd row. I too have a 7 seater, again not by choice- in Canada the Limited only comes as a 7 seater. I’ll never use the 3rd row and wanted to find a mat like this.
what about access to the under floor storage compartments near the end? Is the WeatherTech flexible enough to allow easy access or will it bra pain?
can you provide the WeatherTech part no.?
