That looks great. I was forced, so to speak, to take the Toyota version upon vehicle delivery. It covers the folded 3rd row to the tailgate but like the Lastfit has open seams to allow raising the 3rd row. I too have a 7 seater, again not by choice- in Canada the Limited only comes as a 7...
I had my 5G for 16 years. Never let me down. Big enough to handle most of my requirements and small enough to get me into some tight spots.
Love the styling, features and capabilities.
my daily driver, will spend 90% on the highway and wheeling around cities, when I get to them.
My 5G SR5 had one and I used it quite often during warm spring and fall days, and in summers at night only as it’s too hot during the daylight hours. However, only when the wife was not in the vehicle- it apparently messed her hair too much-“I don’t like eating my hair” she’d say.
it never...
My wife too has mobility issues and that redisigned (&useless) grab handle is forcing her IMO to dangerlessly climb into the vehicle. Unlike the previous poster, I miss having a grab handle like in the 5G on the driver’s side - I have some back issues that a handle would alleviate.
We (wife and I) were just talking about that useless redesigned grab handle on the passenger side, and lack of same for the driver. What designer thought that was a good idea?
I sure hope Toyota or someone in the aftermarket is working on a soon to be released mod.
I have no issues with the steering wheel height in conjunction with the display now that I lowered my seat a bit. Did this mainly to see enough below the rear view mirror, which appears lower than the 5th gen’s, likely due to the massive space requirement for the front camera housing.
Also...
I cannot agree more with the OP’s disdain for the sweep range of the rear wiper. My 5th gen had the same sweep deficiency , I.e. stopping at the 7:00 position.
I cannot be a 100% but I seem to recall that when I raised this Issue many years ago with a Toyota service tech he indicated that the...
I used the washer on dried on dirt. Two notices appeared on Media Screen when I began reversing. One was a yellow camera icon at rear of vehicle on the overhead view and on the left top rear facing view, text indicating the camera view was obstructed. It was then that I activated the washer and...
Limited has it. I’ve used it and it worked very well. However, the obstructing material (road spray from driving in the rain) was still wet. Still, it did the trick.
Just tried it out. Worked fine. I’ll probably use it in parking lots to see the spot lines until I get use to how much steering wheel movement affects angle of vehicle and till I’m confident interpreting what I see in all the cameras-I’am coming from older vehicle and all the cameras are a bit...
To Papa Smurf.
Thanks for posting the You Tube video, it explains what all have been pointing to (no pun intended) in their posts about how to activate the feature of discussion. I have yet to read the manual section on the mirrors.
The mirrors height, size and shape has honestly bothered me a...
Well, according to Toyota.ca website page, three (3) of the gas trims, including the Limited, come with leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. My 2026 Limited has such feature.
