FWIW my ORP has both the tow package and the aux switches (only other optional item is the moonroof). I knew I wanted the tow package and moon roof. Didn’t know I wanted the aux switches but now that I have them I’m looking to add some lights or something that takes advantage of it. But if not for this forum I wouldn‘t know that the silly $400 aux switch option that I did not know i wanted also comes with an alternator.
But I don’t KNOW I have the alternator because I’ve never actually seen it. Where should I look?
Engine 1; No alternator:

I see you're in VA. Several of the ones I'm looking at are in VA and WV. What dealer did you buy from, and would you buy from them again?

Thanks for the photo-yep, there it is. I got it at Koons - Tysons. About 10 minutes away. Was ready to buy a non Hybrid from Orusman but they would not budge off of dealer premium so found the same exact car coming to Koon’s in 6 weeks. Put a deposit down for MSRP but the salesman (that I liked working with) said a hybrid would be in sooner. I told him to let me know when it arrived and I’d come for a test drive. In the meantime I researched the tradeoffs, The Hybrid came in a week and I pulled the trigger. I’d gone to Koon’s for service on my 2003 Sequoia and they were always expensive but solid for service. And I can leave my car for the day and metro to work painlessly.
But to answer your question…. They are a fine dealer with big inventory. No complaints except for price of service. (I bright it in for air dam falling off issue about a month later and had them adjust a couple of the dealer (or Carista) settings (e.g., all windows down at long unlock press) and they did it gratis - which apparently is not the case everywhere)

Thanks. I think they're one of the ones I have on my list. I'm considering using a broker to save a few bucks, but I'm not sure if that would be worth it in the end.

I've been regretting not getting the Aux/Alternator package and towing package but after building one with those and the roof it's over $61k. That's way more than I'll spend on a 4Runner so might need to look for a TH or Pro slightly used if I really want those options. Toyota needs to adopt a more ala cart build than take everything or nothing!

lol it wont happen. it reduces the chances of incorrect installs on the assembly line. less combo's less hassle for everyone.

and not just the people on the assembly line, it also cuts down on the outside supply requirements for parts and you can focus more on (ahem) quality parts (like they use to have a higher reject rate for outside parts than now).

if they only have 7 trims within a model you and you have a limited amount of options say 25 options, you reduce the combo's you can possible have vs the usa brands that have like 15-20+ trims with 50+ options (like the ford f150/250/350 etc)

They get close with the Tacoma, you can add everything I need ala cart without adding a premium package.

A used Pro or Trailhunter will be a lot more than $61k.

If you can get me a white TRD Pro 4Runner for 63k, I'll buy it right tf now.
I misspoke it was a Trailhunter not a Pro but yes my dealer said $63k and change so probably closer to $64k. If I remember the Pros are the same price so shouldn't be too far off that price for a Pro. As for getting you the deal probably not, I've been working with this dealer for 10+years and have done 18+ car deals with him in that time so that's a price for me.

So it is not a legit option for anyone other than you.

Not sure, if he can give me that price anybody should be able to negotiate it, with 6G's so new right now you might be right. I had to push him on our TRDOR Hybrid a bit to get a decent deal back in May and that deal wasn't as good as other deals he's giving me but at the time nobody was discounting Hybrids.
I'll still look for a used one next spring if I decide I really need those options since I won't be towing this winter.

Exactly.

Also...There are MAYBE six Trailhunters in the pipeline available for sale (without a hold) in the entire state of Colorado, I doubt any dealer is going to sell them back of invoice, no matter how loyal the customer is.
