Has anyone purchased paint matched flares and door handles? I have an SR5 but I'm liking the paint matched look on the TRD sport models. I'm hesitant to order from my dealer as they are notorious for being way overpriced. More so than most dealers. And last time I had the flares on my Tacoma paint matched the shop did a horrible job. Just wondering if there are any online dealers that might be a better option?

I don't see Ice Cap with RC. And I am looking for OEM. I've had some aftermarket flares and quality can be rough.

Don't buy aftermarket fenders. They're cheap and look cheap. Particularly with the RCs or the NYTOP carbon fiber ones, they have a lip on the edges which make it look "aftermarket" and an afterthought. They don't look OEM. Personally, I would take it to a good body shop for prep and paint match. Doesn't take that long. I've done that on several vehicles in the past. Probably cost you cheaper than or the same as some of these aftermarket ones. Just my humble opinion.

@papadop88 I'd like to have the oem ones painted but I'm a little snake bitten after my 23 Tacoma paint match. The "best place in town" did a terrible job. I think Reno NV is struggling in the quality department when it comes to body shops these days. At this rate, I'll probably leave them black.

Sorry to hear. I have no idea on Reno's body shop quality, but If you can find a reputable one, there shouldn't be any issue. My buddy owns a certified body shop from all of the OEMs and his color match is always exact. But they know how to prep. I get scale is different here in LA vs Reno, but if done properly, they look like they came from the manufacturer. Keep searching, but in the meantime, keep em black. Nothing wrong with black. Personally, the black gives it a bit of contrast so the whole truck isn't monotone.

But aftermarket fenders always look out of place. Always.

Might not be a bad time investment to drive into SF to get them done in a weekend...

Before I got my TRD ORP I was wanting the paint match and was looking at Sport and Limited because of that but I picked TRD ORP based on what seemed to be some very valuable Off-road features not available on those trims (which I have used a number of times) - and the black accents have really grown on me - at this point I prefer them.
But what I really came here to say is that if you got non-OEM door handles they probably would not have a feature that at this point I would really hate to lose: the touch lock. Touch the dimple on the top (or bottom) of the front of either front door handle and everything locks. I use it every time. I virtually never pull the fob out for anything.
I do not know if your SR5 has this feature but if it does you might want to be sure to go OEM.

SR5s do have this feature, but I wasn’t aware that you could touch the bottom as well as the top. I’ve only used the top dimple. Nice!

The “hold your hand in the handle before opening” to unlock is also a nice feature I wouldn’t want to lose.

the only thing i dont like is the default factory delay to unlock, 1.5 secs is too long.

it can be changed to .8 secs, but it cant be change via the customer facing options. can only be done via global techstream or carista i think.

I'm looking to get OEM parts. Just wasn't sure if there were companies/dealers out there that sold them at decent price. IE my local dealer wanted $1300 for the the TRD running boards. The dealer 80 miles away sold them for $900. Just wasn't sure if there were any Toyota parts companies that were similar to what Tasca is to Ford.

Get the part number and google it. Lots of Toyota parts web sites that sell for much less than Toyota MSRP. I've used Nucar of North Attleboro, Ourisman of Richmond, and Discount Parts Monster. Nucar has had consistently best prices but I'm dealing with an issue with them right now (lack of refund for part I returned to them that they sent in error (I did not order) so not sure I can recommend but when things work they are cheapest.
But ALWAYs check price with shipping - some of the outfits out there are obscene with their shipping costs. And you always can order from Toyota at MSRP and pick up at your local dealer to avoid shipping cost if you can't get below MSRP with discount + shipping.

Just for kicks, searched the price for the red tow hooks I ordered yesterday. Cheapest dealer shown was Nucar in MA. Nucar is a couple of bucks more expensive than what I paid.

This site is a good start, but not necessarily showing the lowest cost.
