Backup camera blocked - how to protect from cover our backup camera from water and dirt?

Does anyone have a solution how to cover our backup camera from water and dirt during and after horrid weather?

I dont depend on my camera and the guide lines when reverse parking. Im still old school and use my side mirrors ans fisheye mirror to park myself haha.

I do not know if it is true for all trims. But if I run my rear window washer. It washes the camera. A lot better than my 2015 Silverado. Where I have the habit of swapping my finger over the camera every morning. I live in Portland Oregon where it rains all the time

Not really a 'fix' but I put a dab of Rain-X on mine then buffed it with a microfiber cloth. Seems like it at least helps keep it cleaner for longer.

Whenever it rains I just run my finger across it before getting in.

It’s not on all trims. I also have it. But I don’t remember what trims don’t have that.
