Aside from the BD S2 kit, is there a worthwhile fog light upgrade?

I had BD Squadrons on my 5th gen and loved them but was also able to mod the mechanism to I could keep them on with the high beams. I don't anticipate we will ever be able to do that on our 6th gens and having a hard time justifying the cost, or logic in having BD fogs that can't be run with high beams.

If I'm being honest I also think the S2 fog kit looks a bit odd. A single rectangular light like OEM just fits and looks better.

I'd be happy if someone just had a decent direct replacement.

Rigid and Diode Dynamics both make SAE-compliant fog light replacements that can be swapped in place of the factory fogs. They include the mounting brackets and the adaptor for the OEM wiring harness.

Do you have a before an after? the thing that keeps me from making a change is not finding any information on the stock lights rating so how do I know spending money on something different is actually an upgrade.

I don't have before and after photos, but I installed the clear ones and they were a pretty big improvement. Here are the specs on them:
