ARB Roof Rack + Roam Box Mounting Kit

Hello

Has anyone installed a Roam Box or Mount on an ARB roof rack (trailhunter rack) ? I got the 95L on black friday but when I tried to mount the mounting kit , the screws seem too shallow. And after several discussions with my buddies (Chatgpt and Gemini lol) I dont want to order the sandwich plates or what not considering they won't arrive on time for my upcoming trip in a few days

any help would be appreciated

I have the ARB 3/4 rack on my '25 ORP. ...I went to my Toyota Parts Dept for a mounting kit hardware for accessories. The only mounting accessory hardware was for the traction mud plates. I had them bring up a closeup of the bolts. Basically their Carriage Bolts you can get at a hardware store. So the head of the carriage bolt can't be any larger than 13/16 inch. The pivot stop square on the Carriage bolt can't be any larger than 7/16 inch...........What should be done is to purchase two 1/8 inch by 1' inch metal strips, And drill holes in the strips to match your travel roam box inside box Corners. Install the Carriage Bolts in the ARB Rack slider mounts. Install the metal strips into the holes and secure with back off clips. Mount the box and nut & washer down through the protruding Carriage bolts threaded extensions that come through the inside corners of the Roam Box.......

If you just need to tie down stuff; I modified the Tacoma optional inside bed slider tethers. See photos for specs of modifications.

So I "temporarily" Figured it out !

Went to Home Depot and bought 1" M6 Hex Bolts , Nuts and Washers x2

worked perfectly where the bolt won't rub against the bottom of the Roam 95L Case

Don't think galvanized is your best option, might want to use marine grade oxide coated hardware.
