I was looking to see if anyone was dumping TRD pro wheels on marketplace and came across a bunch of what look to be ORP wheel powder coated all black and they look kind of good. I was curious if anyone had do so yet and what they looked like on a vehicle.

One of the vendors sells a sticker kit that covers the polished part to achieve the same effect for really cheap.

Yeah I saw that but I have no patience to try and line that shit up. 😂 I looked at them a while back but they don't match the color so it was off-putting.

I made the same change with the vinyl sticker kit from StickerFab.
I was concerned about application - it was easy enough with about 10 - 15 min per tire.
I was also concerned about durability. So far after numerous car washes they're holding up like champs. My only concern now is when I upgrade to actual All Terrain tires, not the factory Mall Terrain tires, will the mounting machine rip them off? Time will tell and it's an inexpensive fix.

The stickers look great and seems to be an inexpensive solution, but I'm still wondering about a more perinate fix. I saw a few threads of people powder coating the old TRD wheels for about $150 a wheel. I wonder if it would be less since only the rim is needed.

I know there was a place selling powder coated wheels and they charged $400 with exchange. Basically they gave you someone else's wheels to that have been powder coated and you gave them yours. They look good in photos.

What place is this? I see this all over FB marketplace.
The TRD PRO wheels i believe get discounted to about $180 during the toyota discounts so probably better to get that if places are charging $150 a wheel
