That's what I was thinking as well but wanted to get a second opinion.

February 5, 2025 arrival date estimate is now the earliest we've seen -- this 2025 4Runner TRD Sport is scheduled to be deliveredto a Georgia dealer 2/5-2/10.

Anyone know why this price sheet has what normally are the DIO (dealer installed options) labelled as LIO? Is there a difference between DIO and LIO?

Depends on how long we've been waiting I suppose lol.

I won't take the power running boards up north here. I've heard lots of complaints about how they jam with ice given the freeze/thaw we get in Calgary.

That said we're trading in an in great shape '16 Yaris so the bargaining will be on the trade in I figure.
My dealer said the power running boards can be locked in the out position. I asked him on Saturday. I hope he is correct.

Exciting news! So, talk to me like I'm 5 years old and eating crayons because I'll be in this situation in the not-too-distant future. You've told your dealer that you want to be placed on a wait list for whatever trim (in TN Vols case an SR5 in Heritage Blue). The dealer responds and says, "We have your SR5. The total price after the port installed options, factory installed options, delivery fee etc... is $48,063."

So my question is.....are you in any position to negotiate? TN Vols....are you going to say, "I'll pay $46,000 for it.", or since you obviously want the rig badly do you just pay the $48,060 and be happy you have one of the first ones? Is there any room for negotiation when you have been on a waiting list? I know there probably isn't for a TRD Pro or Trailhunter, but what about the other trims? What about a Platinum?

Interested in everyone's opinion.
I agree with others. I am on a waitlist and I am guessing you cannot negotiate for a lower price if there is a waitlist. I asked my dealer if you could special order a car and his answer was no. I wanted the limited in a factory color I like and the Portobello interior. If the car does not come in the first allocation I will just have to wait until it comes in. I still am driving my 1997 4Runner Limited I bought new.

I found a TRD Sport that's going to San Bernardino, CA.
The ETA is 1/20 - 2/3.
And to think, just a month or so ago, a few people with supposedly insider knowledge said these won't start delivering until May or June or something like that. I think it was mostly 5th gen lovers that hate the new 6th gen that was spewing that information.

To be honest, the more I look, the more I can't bear the aging 20-year-old 5th Gen platform... 🙂
