The Amazon listings are both out of stock.

I called my local Toyota parts and the correct part numbers are 53341-35170 and 90467-07229 for the pins. According to them, the 2025 4Runner and 2024-25 Tacoma hoods and insulators/pins are different. Here are the Tacoma part numbers for comparison: 53341-AK010 and 90467-A0003 for the pins.

OEM is definetely more, but with all the discounts, I paid $270 total for the insulation and 10 pins. It's double the Amazon version, but it's avaialble now and still OEM.

Question for those who have installed. Does the insulation help with the engine noise?

Installed on my Tacoma and next I will do the 4Runner. Why not they come on the upper trims, so there must be something to them.

Nice video. You made it look easy. My guess is your taller that I am and have longer arms.

I have purchased new Toyota OEM push-Pins (Snaps) to replace all of the ones that came with the cover. They seem solid now but I worry about longevity with heat and vibration. The Toyota "Snaps" were not cheap. I used the same as on the plastic covers that are above the radiator, lights. I like the design.

Good point on the heat defection too.

It still amazes me that Toyota cut costs on some items. Oh Well....

I've been trying to buy the OEM part online, but the shipping cost is absurd. My dealers here won't match online prices. 🤦‍♂️

@jsvwx provided it above the correct part numbers are 53341-35170 and 90467-07229 for the pins. The cheapest I have found it is $305 online. My local dealer is $386.

Thank you for the dealer. Even that one charges $700+ for shipping. Then the free shipping caps out at $200 off.

I ran into that whacky shipping charge when I was looking for a cargo mat. called the place and they said it was a big box or something to that effect.
I checked around and I believe parts.elmhursttoyota.com got it to me for 20% off and $30 shipping. Box was similar to the one in the video.
That freight was IL to MA.

I ended up just getting it from the local dealer. It was close enough in terms of price.
