I would get the deal in writing first, Allot of these try and get you, They will have addons like lift kits, bigger wheels, Paint protection, theft protection.
My point same hp, but better looking and if you get the 1958 you got just about everything except leather which can be added for less or the same money except for an SR5
Wait a few years then decide. I was going to buy a 5th gen 2022-2024, but they drove like a Jeep at Highway Speeds felt like it could roll over with one wrong move. If you are comfortable driving it it on the Highway no need to update
Love mine, only reason I thought about a higher trim was the front and rear sensors, If they come out out with the cold weather plus package in a few years I will trade mine in, I also have had many leather seat vehicles, they wear easy the perforated seat are the worst at wear.
Wrong the 4Runner has direct injection and port injection. Direction injection only motors have the issue of carbon build up that is why manufactures now run both type of injection to help cure this issue.
Not free at 5k, tire rotation and inspection are, 10k for oil, rotation and inspection are free, my dealer would not let me use the 10k oil change at 5k so I paid for it myself not sure if all dealers are like this or This is a Toyota policy ?
Yes, if you only shop for a car every ten years you are in the minority, allot of people leased the old 4Runners, or traded them early due to high resale. On newer engines with direct fuel injection, port injection, 11.1 is really not that high, It is high when compared to old carburetor engines...
FYI ,These are not high compression engines, 20 hp gains are with performance tuning and 91-93 octane gas. Most people will only keep these 4Runners 3 to 4 years so if you want premium gas go for it that is your money
