Hi guys:

New to this forum. Just bought a brand new 2026 4Runner ORP. I’m looking to change the stock tires and needed some recommendations. I used to have KO2’s on my 2019 Ford Ranger. I looked at several different tire shops and when I input the stock tire sizes it all says it won’t fit my vehicle. I’m wanting to put KO3’s at the stock tire setting size of 265/70R18. Does anyone know if it would fit or not? Or would I need trimming or would it cause any rubbing? Also what size tire could I fit if I was to go bigger without having to trim or cause tire rubbing?

Thank you

Does it matter if it’s like 119S or 124S does anyone know the difference?
Hope this helps.

From Google…

A tire rating of 119S or 124S refers to the tire's load-carrying capacity (119 or 124) and its maximum speed capability (S).

Breakdown of the Rating
  • Load Index (119 or 124): This is a numerical code indicating the maximum weight one tire can carry when properly inflated.
    • 119: Each tire can support 3,042 lbs(1,380 kg).
    • 124: Each tire can support 3,527 lbs(1,600 kg).
  • Speed Rating (S): This letter indicates the maximum speed the tire can handle under its recommended load.
    • S: Rated for speeds up to 112 mph(180 km/h).
What This Means for Your Vehicle
  • Capacity: A 124-rated tire is stronger and can support a heavier vehicle or more cargo than a 119-rated tire.
  • Use Case: The "S" rating is common for all-terrain or light truck (LT) tires designed for durability rather than high-speed passenger car performance.
  • Safety: You should always replace tires with the same or higher load index and speed rating as the original tires, ensuring they meet the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
When comparing, a 124S tire offers a higher load capacity than a 119S tire, while both are rated for the same maximum speed of 112 mph.

You can go to tiresize.com and compare every tire manufacturer, different tires by same manufacturer including weight, physical size, etc. You would be surprised how many 35" tires are actually 33". Used this many times sizing my jeeps and HD trucks.

Make sure you get C load tires, not E.
... but the 18"s don't come in C, best is D for the 18" KO3s

anyways get C or D unless you do severe off roading, those are stiff tires.

I will vouch for that I put 35" KO2s on my lifted 2015 2 door Wrangler and it rode like hell, even with Evo Plush ride shocks on. Jeep only weighs 4k lbs most which made it worse. Side wall rating also available on tiresize.com.

I’m running Ko3s E Rated. Absolutely nothing wrong with them IF you run them at the correct psi for comfortable. If you’re suspension is NOT the TRD Pro or Tailhunter the E Rated tires will feel rough for sure.
