Welcome to the club! lol What color did you order? I had a chance 6 months ago to snag a white/red that someone backed out of they day they were to pick it up/sign the paperwork and decided to stick my OG order of Underground/red.

I have a feeling I’m in the same boat becuase I’m in the same region. If that’s the case it puts the hold until May 27th so it will probably be beginning of June.

Hello All - found this forum/thread and first, great information. I am in the same boat. Deposit on my TRD PRO in February. Supposed to be delivered in early March. 60 day hold on March 9th. Passed that mark My 9th with no update.

The updates i receive are basically useless. "still on quality hold" "thats all the information our toyota rep is giving us". Incredibly disappointing with no end in site. I came across this spreadsheet in my other searches. If you download the 2026 4runner sold and run your vin they may have info. I feel like its a clear recall/issue with these higher end models and Toyota is saving face by saying nothing. I'd much rather clear transparency into what we are waiting on. Anyway, great forum/thread and I will post when my dealer has any update

It's not just pro I guess. I on a whim looked to see specs of the other ORP I was looking at that was supposed to be delivered in a week or two when I was buying. That was 2 months ago. As of today it's still in transit.

The price of mine went up $649 for documentation fees on the Toyota inventory and dealers website. The price has been the same since I placed the order in January and it just went up yesterday.
I already negotiated my price, my trade and have the prices in writing plus in fine print states that taxes and fees are included.

This happened to my ORP hybrid also, took a month to come from Japan, then sat at port for about 3 weeks and several prices went up. The dealer kept the already negotiated price no issues.

Two months ago dealer said “it’s here, 7 days out!”
Today: “July 1st.”

Hi, My TRD Pro has been sitting in Port for over 3 months now. It keeps getting pushed back. The dealers is frustrated and has been fantastic to deal with. Is anyone else in the same boat? Does anyone know why the delay? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you’re definitely not alone. A lot of 2026 TRD Pro owners are seeing the same port delays and constant pushbacks. From what people are saying, it’s mostly backlog and port processing issues. At least your dealer has been solid through it all, hopefully it finally gets released soon.

“Quality Hold” doesn’t sound like a paperwork issue

QA hold can be as mundane as a yellow sticker to a prelude to a stop sale.

depending on what is causing the hold, typically its a normal 60 days. longer duration holds are usually due to waiting for a part or longer test cycles to determine what needs to be fixed.

since most parts/test are done in japan, you have to deal with either

1. parts shipped to usa ports
2. testing to be finalized in japan

so its a good and bad thing being built in japan
