Nice!! Best news on these we’ve heard in awhile. What was your dealer website showing as the project arrival date?

Not sure how accurate the website dates are at this point… but looks like all the Pros and Trialhunters in the SE region just got pushed back until late July from late May today.
The date range showed an availability date of 5/15. But it was at the dealer the next day my sales guy texted me. Picked it up and it’s even more beautiful in person!

I just asked my dealer for the update from the Daily Sheet (which I do every Monday morning) and he said that an additional 23 day estimated hold has been added (Trailhunter in inspection ("Processing") since 03/03/26). He's calling the Toyota rep to confirm.

Got the same answer from my dealer today and that it will put the hold until the middle-end of next week.
At least the end is in sight 🤷🏻‍♂️

So they’re actually giving you a date of next week somehow? My guy has not given me that. About two weeks ago when he last talked to the toyota rep he was talking about the first week of June. Now it seems like they’re adding 23 days to that. I have not confirmed that but he was going to call the rep again.

No official date, just that the 83 day hold will be over by middle-end of next week. My dealer said Toyota has been vague on the issue other than it’s a “Quality hold”

My wife and I placed our down payment two weeks ago for a 2026 Off Road Premium May 9th, 2026 (we provided the dealer with four color options and a list of the FIO and PIO that we wanted). Tuesday, May 12th, our dealer informed us that we got our first pick on color (Supersonic Red) and that the 4Runner will arrive in port on May 22nd. I noticed on the spreadsheet that there is an eta.currFromDate and etaCurrToDate. I am assuming that is the date range that the dealer is expecting delivery?

You are a lucky person!! And yes, I'm pretty sure that's your expected dealer delivery date. I believe those fields populate as soon as the vehicle gets put on a train. Mine have been blank for two and a half months now.

Actually ETA dates populate before it leaves the factory some cases weeks before leaving the factory. You could track your vehicle you put in some effort. Ask for a screen shot of the dealer daily, that will give you the RORO vessel name. With some internet sluething you could track vessel to port which takes 3-4 weeks to arrive state side depending on destination port. USUALLY less than 2 weeks to be loaded on to truck in route to a dealer near you.

My truck has been sitting in inspection since March 2. I know that it’s stateside. I disagree with what you said above. My ETA dates have been blank since March as well. But I am 100% certain that it’s stateside. It’s being held for inspection. If you read above you’ll see a lot of people in the exact same bone as I am.

Perhaps in haste I quoted you instead of previous poster. Well you are correct and we are in the same boat as I am waiting along side of you and everyone else. But you did at some point before March 2 have an ETA. What is happening to us isn't the normal operations of Toyota. What I mentioned is the typical standard operating procedure.

Thank you for clarifying. I really appreciate it. I wasn’t trying to be a jerk. That’s fantastic that Pat guy above us ordered one and he’s gonna get in a couple weeks. What do you think is going on with all these being held? And did they just delete all the ETA once they put them on inspection hold? I wasn’t really looking at mine until a week or two into March so I didn’t see that.

I wish I knew what was going on. The rumor mill has been rolling at high speed. Don't know what to believe at this point.
