I'm not sure if that was directed at me, but I don't have Weathertech. My bug shield is 3M taped directly to the hood. How do you feel about your WeatherTech bug deflector? Mine just arrived today but I thought it would clip on under the hood... It actually tapes to the front of the hood with 3m tape and I'm concerned about adhesive on my paint. Considering returning it.
Looks good! Did you get any rubbing?
Must have missed this-sorry. This is a Husky bug deflector. I like it. I wash my truck just about once or twice a week, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear or scratches yet. Easy to install. https://huskyliners.com/p/husky-liners-aeroskin-low-profile-hood-protector/How do you feel about your WeatherTech bug deflector? I just used a torque wrench to tighten to specs. Very minimal rub at full lock. As in I didn't even notice it for the first few months, and after I figured out it was rubbing, I could barely see any wear in that spot.Looks good! Did you get any rubbing?
I also have what might be a dumb question: Spidertrax says not to use an impact gun to install. I assume this means only the spacer install -- wheels can then be installed using an impact gun like normal? Having to use a breaker bar & torque wrench for every tire rotation etc would be tedious as most shops would just use a gun (I think?). Thanks...
Tire shops use torque sticks on their impacts. Always torque aluminum wheels...Looks good! Did you get any rubbing?
