  1. Rear tire carrier w/ rear camera?

As long as the donut spare tire is the same diameter as the rest then there is NO issue. But if you install 35" tires I don't think there is any donuts that will have the same diameter and you won't be able to install one underneath the back. Why risk the damage?
  2. 20% Summer Sale on Toyota OEM Parts (until June 22)

Awww come-on! I think mud flaps are maintenance items. ;)
  3. 20% Summer Sale on Toyota OEM Parts (until June 22)

I can never get the rebate to work on my dealer.
  4. TrailHunter Or Build Your Own? Photos

NAH! As a former professional photographer (photojournalist) I can say that he has some experience using perspective control tools and real nice editing skills. I really like his images.
  5. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

What's the part # for those? I need something a little (OK, a lot wider) for my 35"s.
  6. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

Now I can officially call it a "truck". Rear seats deleted and Goose Gear Rear Plate System and rear seat delete platforms added. Install was a breeze. Pretty much plug-n-play. A few new cubby holes for a little extra storage (not much) and no longer have to fight with the rear folding seats for...
  7. Real World MPG by Owners (gas non-hybrid 4Runner) - Post Yours ⛽️

The heavier the truck gets, the lower that average is getting. Worst part (if there's even such a thing) is that I have not yet finished adding heavy mods to it.
  8. List of torque specs for various underbody and/or engine bolts.

I had seen that list but the lower front link was not listed. I am getting really tired of every company hiding specs behind paywalls. It would be easier to just do books and charge the same. I know paywalls are cheaper for them, and they make a LOT more money, but I don't want to pay monthly...
  9. List of torque specs for various underbody and/or engine bolts.

WTFBBQ!!! I downloaded all their manuals when I ordered them a few weeks ago and they are totally different than this one. Looks like they updated them all since I got them. Looks like the ones I got were the same as the Land Cruiser that did NOT have any torque specs. Thanks for the file and...
  10. List of torque specs for various underbody and/or engine bolts.

Does anyone know if there is a downloadable list or a printed book that we can get that spells out the various torque specs for the various bolts on the undercarriage and/or engine? I am going to install my RCI skid plate armor and the front lower links bolts need to be loosen to add the skids...

  12. Need Aftermarket Storage Solutions for Cargo Area

Anyone know what that black wire and sensor(?) is in the middle there?
  13. Rear tire carrier recommendations?

Rigid and Wetscott are almost identical. Wetscott actually uses the Rigid locking lever on all of theirs. That lever is amazingly good and solid.
  14. Rear tire carrier recommendations?

I have a Westcott Design swing hitch rear tire carrier with my LT315/70R17 and I love it so much that I got the other half and mounted 2 jerry cans and my floor jack.
  15. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

New updates from Westcott: Full length low profile rack Rock Sliders Driver's side hitch swing out for two jerry cans and a spot in the middle for the floor jack (I have to order the mount that has locking capabilities).
  16. Installing level kit with toyota and keeping warranty

I think it's time for a new dealership to take your truck to.
  17. Installing level kit with toyota and keeping warranty

That's not a bad price since my dealer wanted $2900 parts/labor for the kit. I got my lift kit, wheels, and tires done at Westcott for $4700 OTD.
  18. Installing level kit with toyota and keeping warranty

I asked my dealer about the Westcott lift kit since they also offered it with some of their own cars as an added option; they wanted 5x what Westcott was going to charge for the install...and that was over the 50% price increase on the actual kit. They would NOT install it if I bought it and...
  19. Tire Poke Gas Milage Drop

The wide vs narrow argument is as old as tires. There's one camp that will claim that narrow tires are better with rocks while the other camp says wider tires are better in sand. The truth is right in the middle, just like any other argument. Pick the best tire for your style of terrain that...
