Yeah I'm not expecting it to "hit" but it should be "punchy" with a JBL label on it. JBL is widely known to provide punchy bass. My current problem does neither & in fact is barely audible in the rear speakers.

I think it would be reasonable to have the rear door speakers at 60-80 hz & above with the subwoofer at 60-80 hz & below to match in order to not have a gap in frequencies. The subwoofer is dedicated to low end frequencies but it should definitely be heard & even punchy to a certain extent. I...

I seriously doubt it. Humans don't typically hear 20 hz and lower frequencies. Would not make sense to low pass filter it that way. Toyota & JBL should also know that a majority of people want to hear & feel the subwoofer. If how mine is playing is normal for the system then paying extra for it...
