Unfortunately the turbos require more frequent oil changes if you want maximize their usable life span. In addition, all new engines produce shavings as it wears in & other crap related to the manufacturing that should be removed from the system as soon as possible & before the frost 5,000...

We're in agreement here. I've listened to & played with mine after reading that the sub is tied to the front speakers. Even with the fader set to default position (center) and the bass level increased by +3 the sub in the rear sounds quite anemic & the rear door speakers' bass is non-existant...

This is interesting. 🤔 I'm not saying you're wrong but could you kindly share a link or something from an expert source that provides more insight into this system design choice?

Thank you for sharing your experience & conforming there is an issue (at least for some of us). 🙏🏻 Makes no sense to me that the rear door speakers & the rear subwoofer perform half ass but the front speakers perform well.

Yes, I did see it said that the shift points are different. I'm curious specifically about the engine & what goes on with it in Eco Mode. Not all vehicles use cylinder deactivation as you “suspect”.

❔ Can anyone explain with accuracy what exactly happens in the engine when Eco Mode is used? I'm curious because I've heard that using Eco Mode with 6 & 8 cylinder engines could cause cylinder deactivation which causes internal engine damage & premature engine failure. I'm not sure about the...

Yeah I bet it's thumpin' now! 😅 Enjoy your upgraded “premium” sound. Personally I don't really want to delve into adding any other sound components & risking the installers messing something up especially while it's under the factory warranty. I just want my existing rear speakers to perform...

Unfortunately I've not been able to visit a dealership yet & sample the same audio system in an unsold '25 4Runner. Most dealerships are closed near me on Sundays but I plan to visit on Monday or Tuesday this week to compare. I did spend some time evaluating mine further using the suggestions...
