minot.
i know MN and SD and montana do reciprocal taxes for ND. just depends on the dealer if they want to deal with the hassle.
one of these days i need to do the dickens festival, still havent since i moved here in 1988, or am i confusing the 2 with dickinson and the dickens festival?
🤦‍♂️
some options you just have to play with to really see what they do.
i think i need to change the door touch unlock feature to off from short (short is like .8 secs).
medium is 1.5 secs. i got so use to my 2014 4R that when i touch the handle it immediately unlocks.
you go thru the screens and select a vehicle, then it takes about 10 mins to scan thru the vehicle.
i only did the monthly sub and canx before the 30 days. once i get everything set, i dont need a monthly/yearly sub.
i have other apps to pull codes that are free
only reason i bought a new adapter was i lost my old elm27 adapter (i think i left it in the old 2014 4runner on trade in)
new elm27 you can get get cheap on amazon, they range from 10-15 to over $100 (depending if you need the special ones for GTS some times)
my old elm27 worked just fine...
i retract my post on the screw attached item. its actually a part of the under dash. weird there is a customer facing screw, which is un-typical of toyota.
i went out and checked mine and its there also.
well each dealer is different, but i can see from the dealers stand point. they are doing all the filing and state, bank, loan paperwork, so i understand the cost associated with doing that for you.
i mean personally i dont want to deal with doing that myself, but each their own i guess. i am...
man i feel for you folks getting hosed on doc fees. my dealer only charged $225, rest was title, tax, license fees from the state.
and the dealer lists the doc fee on the dealer website
the only thing i dont like is the default factory delay to unlock, 1.5 secs is too long.
it can be changed to .8 secs, but it cant be change via the customer facing options. can only be done via global techstream or carista i think.
it wasnt a /sarcastic reply, its just he uses the engineer shtick to make him look better. he is an engineer, but for toyota he wasnt a engineer in the sense that we think when you say that word with an automotive manufacturer.
goto his about page on automotive press and he talks about all the...
oh and the the boost gauge, its think it maxes at 32 psi but normally goes 18-19 psi in day to day normal driving
toyota doesnt post specs for the turbo
its more like 7-10 psi @ stock (better google-fu got some better stats)
some have been able to get up to 15 psi on the 2.4L turbo with...
lol he is not a toyota engineer in the sense that you think of an engineer (maybe gmc though). him and tundra dude i have them on ignore on youtube along with scotty.
nothing against his YT channel personally, but him, tundradude and scotty, the voice just pings my ears to the point i cant...
the dealer got me 2 rates, better than capital one, toyota financial
4.89 @ 60 months
5.54 @ 72 months
but with trade in ($19,000) and allocation reserve request deposit of $1000, i only financed just over $45,000 on a $63,114 vehicle (msrp was $67,843, not including tax, fees, license...
well sad to say, i wont be having this issue. in ND during winters, we usually dont let the tank get below 1/2 full. its a safety issue during our winters. more so during jan & feb where we can hit -20F or -30F ambient, then add in wind chill and you can be pushing -40 to -50F wind chills.
if...
