i will probably go rekgen's, i emailed them and they replied ...
"we are looking into this fitment, but not sure of launch date"
have then on the tundra and like them a lot at only $155 for a 4pc set
here is pics of the oem flaps vs the rekgens i installed.
well the shark fin has the hardware to receive the signal so i imagine any kit would re-use it. but i am not sure if they also have the gps and cell atenna in it also.
i pulled this from another 4R forum and this is what a 21 4R looks like
there is 3 delays for the door handle.
2.5s
1.5s
.8s
off
ive tried .8 and off and the delay is the same. i have mine set to unlock all doors so the delay will always be there ( i have set the mirror to not fold/deploy but i have set the seat to move in case the wife drives it. the steering...
only certain models with a very specific PIO will get an alternator in a hybrid.
from my understanding only the TH and PRO can add the aux switch option and get the alternator on the hybrid.
the aux dc to dc switch panel is standard on TH, TRD Pro and option package on TRD Off-Road Premium...
yeah mine is delayed on unlocks. not instant like it is on the 23 tundra.
ive tried the .8 unlock delay and off and still a delay. oh well i'll adjust. not a deal breaker in the grand scheme of things. i have more creature comfort benefits with the new 25 vs the 14 so i can live with it.
and techically, the 4R doesnt have awd (awd system typically use the brakes to slow/stop a spinning wheel to simulate 4wd), for the FT4WD models (limited hybrid and the platinum) you are speed limited by the ecu (i think its 105/110 mph)
you need to be very mindful of the speed disengagement on...
For those that were waiting for the follow up video @chloekuotaco mentioned in her first video here is the full behind the scenes look at the port process, at around the 18 min mark is where it segways back into her original video.
original thread/video...
ports of entry will always move older gens out of the port inventory before shipping next MY vehicles.
26's are already sitting in long beach port but its been said they will not move them until 25 are moved out first.
as stated above, yes make dam sure you get a lithium battery pack. lithium is rated for extreme cold temps vs standard batteries.
i use them for my outdoor weather station and our garage door power lock. standard batteries barely last a year in the -20F temps we get.
for me DTE is a moot point. i go by what the fuel gauge reads. once it gets to 1/2 (winter time) to around 1/4 summer time, i fill up.
winter time 1/2 lasts about 1 week (from remote starts and my daily 32 mile round trip work trip).
during the summer 1/4 tank left will last about 10 days give...
its due to the master shut off. its been a staple for at least since the beginning of the 5th gen back in 2009.
if there is a parasitic power draw (regardless of what it is and is detectable by the can-bus, the master shutoff will cut all power after 15-20 mins.
and that includes the radio...
lol the first post list the factory torque specs and this guy says send it to 110. good way to snap a lug bolt off if you do that repeatably
[sarcasm]
probably tells himself "i dont need a man, i am a strong independent woman"
[\sarcasm]
😂
typical toyota BoF alt amp output is usually around 130-140 before the hybrids came along,
the bigger tundra and tree ran between 130-150 i think before the hybrids
so i am guessing the 2025+ would run the same as before for ease of reusability
