toyota has a conservative approach to most things so i am guessing .1 difference is not going to ruin anything. that also wont take into account the oil that wasnt drained during the oil change, so technically the system has more than 5.9 quarts, you just cant get to it.
but thats a mute point...
AtoZ delivered today the muslogy headunit tray. really simple install. came with 2 soft pads that attach to something, i am guessing the bottom of the tray. no instructions so i guessed.
here is a quick video of it. like it, someplace to put the sunglasses with quick easy access to.
the tray...
if you really need a 3rd row vehicle go with a grand highlander (or sienna if you want to go mini-van route). it has the best 3rd row in any toyota, better than the sequoia old or new.
yeah i miss my little tray across the shift lever in the 2014 4R, was the perfect size to fit my clip on polarized shades.
in the 2025, there is no place to put any small items close by. the muslogy is the best i can find to hold small items. and i dont want to open the over sunglass storage...
the only thing i notice is that the hybrid engagement is wonky on 1st start up of the day. kinda feels like a hard shift but on my platinum its the hybrid system engagement.
its does it so fast (within 1 sec) that it can feel like a hard shift.
otherwise havent notice any abnormal stuff on my...
well it looks like my dealer is selling my old 4R for $25k and gave me $19k for it.
here is the carfax report i pulled from the dealer website on it, kinda interesting.
only odd fact was i never had any service done in jackson, wy (matter of fact i have never been to wyoming ever and i wouldnt...
yeah thats a hard no no matter the color. white makes it look the worst.
the only redeeming part is the side doors. at least those blend in, in the right spot, the other pieces look way out of place.
based on the brouchure on the trd sport premium (i am guessing that is what you have and not the trd premium)
no memory mirrors.
memory mirrors start at limited and up trims
you can always swap sides, one side is usually white, the other side is black
here is tire racks reviews of several tires in the same category
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/taking-off-road-tires-on-road?ttid=337
here is the same list but summarized...
its the same whether you have 3rd or not. the tumble seats are universal between all trims.
the only difference is the load floor whether you have a 3rd row or not on the non hybrid.
the load floor on the non 3rd row non hybrid is more flat and usable vs the hybrid load floor.
The typical "new car smell"
What it is: A combination of gases released from new materials used in the car's interior, such as plastics, leather, adhesives, and carpets.
What's happening: These materials release VOCs as they heat up and are used for the first time.
Why it's there: It's an...
this is mostly for bridges where they will freeze over faster than the road.
the road has earth underneath it so it will stay warmer for longer than a bridge with nothing underneath it to keep it warm.
oh and to add to cali's woes, they usually dont import refined gas since no one outside of cali wants to make that special fuel. its not cost effective.
CARB requires very specific fuel blends and the only refineries are in cali that make them.
